Emily is a lifelong artist who enjoys working with a variety of media. As a young child she would design and create for hours, teaching herself to make her designs. After obtaining her degree in design from FIDM Emily went on to explore paper craft, costume design, home decor, performing arts and more. Her unique aesthetic incorporates a sense of whimsy and magic that merge innovation and tradition. Her style often incorporates surprising aspects that wouldn't seem to go together but work perfectly. Emily specializes in one of a kind and custom creations. She loves to clarify concepts for personal style and offer items that will become treasured heirlooms. She enjoys creating one of a kind pieces for homes and special occasions, bridal accessories, decorations for themed events, collage art and graphite portraits. Every item is made with the highest quality materials, personal care, attention to detail, and of course... Avec Amour, meaning literally "with love", was born when friends began looking to Emily for unique solutions for weddings and special occasions. Our pieces are made with attention to detail and high quality materials sourced specifically for each project. Each piece is unique and hand made by designer Emily Alrick. Our products include hair adornments, jewelry, garters and paper craft and fabric decorations. Custom work includes headpieces, crowns and veils, bridal jewelry, bridal party accessories, garters, bridal sashes and belts, boutonnieres, ring pillows, flower girl baskets, hats, shrugs, bouquets and bouquet bling, corsages, holiday and home decor, banners, paper craft decor and more. Avec Amour uses fine fabrics, feathers, laces and appliques, vintage bits, as well as unexpected and specially sourced pieces to create truly unique products. We have partnered with local Southern Oregon event planner, An Inspired Affair, to offer customized solutions, personal design and to help create unique events.
